My Project

Many of my students are athletically talented, but have little to no resources to flourish. The funding of this exercise equipment will give them the opportunity to tap into that raw, natural ability and cultivate it. As an athletic coach and educator, I have worked in this under-served, Title I community for more than a decade. Over the years, I have seen countless student athletes who have not had the opportunity to realize their potential. These resources will equip students to compete globally and take control of their health and fitness. There's an old adage, "When you know better, you do better." I have complete confidence that the Smith Machine, free weights, and resistance bands will empower them to elevate and excel.
