My Students
Help quench our thirst for knowledge. My wonderful first graders want to learn about everything! We need exposure to the world around us in as much print and experiences as possible. Please help!
My wonderful students attend a title one Kindergarten through eighth grade, inner city school in Maryland.
We have a mid to large classroom of 26 students and counting! My students love to read, write and learn about many real world things and situations.
My Project
I am requesting Weekly Reader magazines to provide a print rich environment that is based on the real world! Often students have misconceptions about the world they have not been exposed to. My goal is to clear those misconceptions on a weekly basis within the classroom.
This project is so important because it is the seed planted that will help my students learn so much about what is going on in the world.
