Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year, I have a class full of energetic and eager 2nd graders! They deserve the best possible learning environment to help them grow and succeed as I know they can achieve so much!

When in my classroom, we are all scientists, teammates, authors, mathematicians, artists, dreamers, and world-changers. My students work every day to better ourselves to better the world we live in.
My Project
These magazines will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. It will expose my students to student-friendly news articles and different types of nonfiction texts!
With these new weekly magazines, my students will be able to continue to learn about the world around them!
They will also be able to explore topics related to science. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these magazines will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading informational text. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
