This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kinder students are most bilingual. They are eager to learn a new language, culture, school, teacher, and any new experiences that our curriculum will give them. Some of them know me already because I had the privilege to work with any of their siblings.
My Project
A super hero drawstring backpack with various items to be used for distance learning will be given to each child. These items will help give my students an enjoyable experience during the week of the young child. My students are five and 6 year old and they have difficulty staying on task throughout their online learning time. The bag of goodies will encourage them in their online education.
It is important for kindergarten children to develop their fine and gross motor skills to ensure their academic success in writing and reading in the future.
The playdough, coloring activity book, watercolor set, and the other items will help them develop these important skills. Please help me, help my students. They are young children and need that extra fun in their lives. They are already missing a lot and I would like to give them a little spark of encouragement and love during the week of the young child. Help me celebrate these young learners during their special week.
