My Project
Our Special Education PreK class shares a playground with 5 recently added UTK classes. The playground gets a lot of use from young learners, new to elementary school.
The classes have been using tricycles that are in disrepair and are too large for them to reach the pedals.
This causes them frustration and a loss of the learning experience that comes with adequate equipment. These Lakeshore trikes are solid, stable and will last for many years.
Having new size appropriate trikes for them will enable them to develop gross motor skills and participate in taking turns around the track. Having new bikes will also teach them to conflict negotiate by sharing and trading.
