This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Ms. Cooper's Troopers are one of a kind. They come from a low-income area; however, they do not let that define them. They are bright, joyful, and a pleasure to teach. My Title I school is building on a solid foundation. We are aiming to give our students the high education they deserve with very little resources.

Money should not be a factor in whether a child receives the quality education they deserve.

Working to close the achievement gap is my number one priority. "Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence." I have hope and confidence that my Troopers will go far in life despite the daily challenges they face!

My Project

iPads will make a difference in my students' learning because we do not have enough classroom computers and many of my students don't have internet at home. The iPads would be beneficial because many of our frequently visited sites have apps as well. Each student would be able to use the sites for the recommended amount of time given more resources to access the sites.

"Technology is just a tool.

In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important." Having these iPads would make centers and small groups so much more engaging for my students!
