Weaving, Clay Sculpting, and Printing Fish!

Clay is such an essential part of any school art experience. Help me give my students these art supplies. My scholars will get to mix colored clay, weave with soft yarn, and print with rubber fish! What fun!

My Project

My students are excited about Art as they did not have Art at their school for many years. As their teacher, I strive to expose them to as many materials and mediums as possible.

This project will allow my 450 students to try clay, printmaking, and weaving.

We will mix primary colors with clay and make new colors for our coil pots. With the printing, we will experience the Japanese technique of gyotaku. With weaving, the students will try out looms to make a tiny rug.
