This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items we’re requesting — like Cricut materials — will make a huge difference in our students' learning by giving them hands-on experience in design and creativity. These tools will teach them practical skills like planning, problem-solving, and attention to detail, while also encouraging self-expression and artistic exploration. Beyond that, students will be able to use these materials to create their own club uniforms and school pride shirts, helping them feel more connected to their school community and building a sense of teamwork and spirit.

Our goal for this project is to provide students with the resources they need to fully participate in our T-shirt Club.

We want to foster a space where students can collaborate, experiment with design, and take pride in their finished work. By working with real design tools and materials, they’ll gain confidence, learn new techniques, and develop a deeper understanding of the creative process. The opportunity to create shirts that represent their clubs, teams, and school events will only strengthen their sense of pride and belonging.

What makes our students special is their passion and imagination. They come to T-shirt Club excited to learn and ready to create. Many of them don’t often have opportunities to explore their artistic side, and this club gives them a safe, supportive environment to express themselves. Their creativity, enthusiasm, and willingness to try new things deserve to be nurtured — and with your help, we can make that happen. Together, we can help them design not only unique shirts but also unforgettable experiences
