This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The NYS Science Standards have changed and I need new supplies for my students. I would like to show my students how storms affect our environment and change the landscape by using a stream table.
Having a stream table for my students to manipulate will show them how water changes the landscape.
They can see the effects of urbanization and how pollution can affect them.
Being able to manipulate the stream table with different storm scenarios will help my students to better understand how urbanization affects them and how they can help to protect their environment.
