Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will provide each student with a plain t-shirt they can customize and decorate to create their own end-of-the-year shirt. This is part one of our project. We’ll use this activity to reflect on our favorite memories, celebrate our accomplishments, and express ourselves through art and design. Not only will this project give students a keepsake to remember their first year of school, but it will also support creativity, build confidence, and strengthen classroom community. It’s a fun way to wrap up the year—and a gift they can proudly wear and cherish long after kindergarten ends.
