My students in our school's printmaking elective are incredibly excited to learn the skills and processes behind creating visual content.
We've been working on designing stencils, posters, and even mock-up t-shirt designs on paper. To take their learning to the next level, I'm requesting funds to purchase blank t-shirts and printing supplies that my students can use to print their final designs.
Having actual t-shirts and block printing supplies to print will provide an invaluable hands-on experience. Students will get to see their designs come to life, understand the printing process, and feel the pride of wearing something they created themselves. This project will not only enhance their technical skills and understanding of high contrast images, but also boost their confidence and creativity.
