This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, energetic, and motivated learners! My district has provided each student with a Chromebook to use at school. However, there are not enough headphones for my students. Many of my students come from low-income households and cannot afford to buy headphones.
My students use their Chromebooks to work on programs that are at their individualized instructional levels.
These programs require students to record themselves and listen to stories out loud. Without headphones, the noise level becomes high and makes it difficult to hear and concentrate.
