Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I am teaching 30 high fourth graders. I teach in a Title I school, located in a very high-poverty and high-crime area of Pennsylvania.

All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of my students come from homes where English is not spoken. I have eight special education students and five ESL (English as a Second Language) students in my classroom. Several of the students in my classroom have an in-class social worker. I would appreciate as much support as I can get for my little ones. Thank you in advance.

My Project

We would love to get some Life Essential Foods to send home.

Please support my fourth graders in getting breakfast bars, popcorn, sun chips, veggie chips as well as crackers with cheese and crackers with peanut butter.

I like to send my students home with healthy snacks at the end of the day. I do not want them to worry about ever getting hungry.

I want them to be able to focus on their studies in class and not worry where their next meal is coming from.
