Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The donation of these snacks will allow my students to stay focused at school so they can learn more effectively. Snacks will give them the necessary nutrients they need to keep hunger at bay.
Healthy snacks are an important part of a growing child's diet.
Students come to school bright and early and are usually burned out by the end of the day. Most of my students participate in after school programs or attend aftercare. They need a snack to gain energy and stay focused.
In addition, many students are not financially able to bring or buy snacks. I have tried to provide them with some snacks, but it has become extremely expensive for me to do. This is why it is crucial for donors to fund this project.
