My Project
My students show up every day for their own learning. My 5th grade class loves to learn, but sometimes they can feel defeated by their test scores. I've learned that they need to know how to monitor their own growth. Students will use these binders to track their progress in each subject area using bar graphs and colors so that they can actually see where they have improved. They will them craft targeted goals for the coming weeks to help them improve even more. Students will conference with teachers using their data binders to discuss the learning behaviors they are learning to internalize, and we will guide them towards celebrating every success!
