My high school is very rural and located on the Wind River Indian Reservation. Libraries are not easily accessed by my students, many of whom do not have transportation. Most of my students live on the reservation and rely on accessing books in my classroom library. Recently, I have been ordering new books and an explosion of reading has been happening! Students are checking out books and reading for pleasure . . . something I have not seen much here before.
Please help me to expand my classroom library with reading choices of different genres that will spark their interest.
I am also requesting bookcases to keep these new books organized and earbuds that students can use when using digital devices.
