This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." ~ Benjamin Franklin.
My students have a range of disabilities that such as speech delayed, autistic, learning disabled and muscular dystrophy and need to be involved in their lessons to keep them actively engaged.
Even with the challenges they face, my students come to school eager to learn.
My Project
Because my students have different learning styles, some of them have a very difficult time retaining information taught. A mobile easel will not only allow me to teach my lesson to my students, but it will allow them to participate in the lesson which will help them retain and understand the lessons been taught. As Benjamin Franklin said "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."
Your donation will allow my students to actively participate in whole group and small group instruction, which will allow my students to become successful learners. This easel would be a major learning tool in our classroom.
