This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting podcasting equipment to improve the experience for my young podcasters. Our multimedia journalism class produces a weekly podcast to highlight positive things happening in our school community. We discuss school clubs, trips, classes, sports teams, as well as issues of interest to our listeners.
If we had a mixing board, swivel chair, and headphones, our sound studio would be complete and we could improve the quality of our podcast.
Learning how to produce a podcast includes many skills that students will be able to carry with them beyond high school. In addition, it has been a great addition to our school culture.
