My Students
I love spending my days with my awesome 3rd graders! They walk into our classroom full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.
I teach at an environmental focus neighborhood school in Portland.
I love working with children because they are creative, curious, and positive! Their positive attitudes inspire me daily. If you could meet them, I know they would inspire you, too!
My Project
A vacuum? This may seem like an interesting ask, but yes, we need a hand vacuum for our room! There has been a shortage of custodial workers (who by the way work SO, SO INCREDIBLY hard each day) and the shortage has only been made worse in the pandemic. Having a high-quality hand vacuum will help us clean up messes on our own as a class—from art to choice time to science to tracking in dirt from the field! Having a clean room feels good and helps us focus on our learning.
