My students are excited first grade students in a high-needs school district. First grade is the year when learning takes off! Unfortunately, school budgets do not always make it possible for me to provide the materials and experiences to let my students soar.

My Project
We started a new math program this year called Eureka Math. This math program encourages kids to develop their critical thinking skills. It also makes great use of manipulatives. There is just one problem, we don't have all of the materials we need.
We want to get our hands on the math materials we need to make learning fun!
This Eureka Math Kit will supply all of my students with all of the materials they need for the entire year! It has everything from dice, to cards, to a 100 bead Rekenrek! It would be great to have enough materials for every student, and all of the materials we need for the program. Children will be able to add using counters, tell time with a clock, count and learn about vertices and edges of a 3D shape and learn with 2D shapes using pattern blocks.
