My Project
Recently I have had two students who are new to the country and both speak Spanish. It is often difficult to communicate with them because they also have parents who speak little to no English.
They really enjoy being part of the American culture but find it hard to communicate at times.
They still make a daily effort to do the same activities with smiles and try to understand what is going on around them. Having these translation devices will make the transition a little smoother in helping them feel welcome and heard.
