This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom is fun with lots of hands-on learning. My students are so eager to learn and love school so much. They get excited about new things and new topics we learn about.

Most of my students come from lower-income families, and one hundred percent of my campus receives free lunch. My students are very young and love helping me out. My students typically come from all sorts of backgrounds with things other people may not be experiencing at their homes.

Students need school for social, emotional, and academic growth. ​Your support will allow our students to have materials and tools to foster lifelong learning. Our school is a place where they can get their needs met both emotionally and physically. I want to ensure my students feel safe and want to come to school.

My Project

We are blessed to be using this play based Pre School curriculum this year but there are many things that would enhance their learning that we just do not have access too.

Children learning thru play enhances their engagement and their comprehension.

We are asking for simply four boxes of play sand. We are going to split this among the four Pre School classrooms to use in their learning centers. Right now all we have in the sand and water table center is water, which can be fun but its not as fun as sand. Help our little learners be so engaged in problem solving thru play.
