My Project
My students are highly-motivated and curious students who love to learn about the world through hands-on and real-life experiences. We are extremely diverse and have various points of view, which makes for rich discussions and unique educational opportunities. We learn from each other and have a passion for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). I am a teacher participating in the CS4ALL (Computer Science For All) SEP Jr program, which promotes teaching Computer Science to underserved communities.
My future CS4ALL STEAM Team would benefit greatly from more opportunities to engage in hands-on STEAM learning in the classroom with materials such as engineering-based Lego sets that connect with our curriculum and Robotic Materials.
They have all the motivation and foundational skills to excel in computer science, we just need more classroom materials to be able to explore in structured stations. We look forward to growing and becoming future engineers!
