My students need these 15 sets of fiction and non-fiction books on their own guided reading levels.

My Students
Some of my students have not yet figured out that reading can be so much fun. This could be the year that their view on Reading changes. A lot of them do not have books on their reading level at home.
My students are at a low income, Title 1 school.
A lot of them do not have the resources available at home to help them learn to be a good reader let alone realize that reading can be fun. They are some of the hardest workers and this is evident by the growth they have already made since August.
My Project
The students will use these 15 sets of guided reading books not only in Reading but also will be allowed to check them out so that their learning can extend past the regular school day. They will be able to find books on their level so they can realize that reading can be fun and easy. They will also be able to use the other books as they move up and progress.
These books will better improve my classroom because it will allow my students to experience the joy of reading and falling in love with a book whether or not they like fiction or non-fiction.
