My students need chart paper, markers, sticky notes, and ink toner so that they can have all the tools necessary to go through our daily small group reading centers.

My Students
My students are a group of very eager students who enjoy learning. We are a part of a Title I school, therefore many of them come from low income homes and environments. Many of them lack the skills necessary to be tolerant and accepting of others.
My students have great potential and need everything possible to help them become successful in their education.
They need to be able to use what they learn in class and take it home and into the real world.
My Project
The materials in this project will help teach my students about tolerance by allowing them to work together in small reading groups. They will create projects together and work together to complete assigned reading tasks in daily centers. Learning tolerance is what will allow our small groups to run effectively.
My students will learn to collaborate and become tolerant of each other as they create projects, complete word sorts, writing prompts, and read together in small groups.
Although we have started small groups already, we are still lacking some of the materials that will make our groups run smoothly. The markers and chart paper are for them to create anchor charts and posters as assigned. The ink toner will allow for them to have the word sorts and writing prompts for their writing journals. Students will also be able to type and print their own work to share with others. Sticky notes will be used in the guided reading center for students to take notes on what they are reading.
