My Students
My Kindergarten scholars show me their own creativity and individuality every day, yet they also show love and care for each other like a family. We laugh, we cry, we struggle, and we soar together. They are amazing, and I am proud that I get to see them learn and grow. To help us with personal growth and development we incorporate many different learning techniques including learning self-help and organizational skills.
What makes them special?
Uniqueness, spirit, love, resilience, passion, bravery and strength all come to mind. They are superheroes, sometimes flying, sometimes faltering, but always their fantastic selves. Many have been through extraordinary challenges in their short lives, coming from, or living in stressful situations, or struggling with personal difficulties. Yet they are kind, courageous and caring humans that want to learn and make a difference in themselves and their world.
My Project
Scholars in Five-Year-Old Kindergarten are learning many skills. These include learning and using self-help and organizational skills. When these skills increase, scholars become more self-sufficient. Increasing these skills also allows them to come up with their own plans and follow them through to get work done.
These individual chair-back storage pocket sacks will allow my scholars to keep their materials and supplies more organized, as well as allowing them to practice self-help skills in keeping track of and selecting what they need to complete their lessons.
They will also save us time because the scholars will not have to gather their materials from different places in the classroom.
