My Project
My first graders love learning and need pencils more now than ever. We just need the basics! Can you help?
Our electric pencil sharpener broke and we ran out of pencils, oh no!
We also need pencil top erasers as our pencils have been writing so much that the erasers are gone! Students started throwing the pencils away because the erasers were gone off the top. Of course this was a teachable moment that our pencils have so much life left, they just need a new eraser top!
Our school is a Title I school where all students receive free breakfast and lunch. That also means that our families cannot afford to send in basic supplies needed for our students to succeed in school.
Sadly, the school's supply closet is almost bare. Just last week, I could not find a box of pencils or those expensive Expo markers needed for the whiteboards in my school's supply closet.
At this time of year, the children have nothing to write with.
Unfortunately, I rely on my generous donors to just cover the necessities, supplies including pencils, write & wipe boards and Expo markers, that will be used right away and that will be greatly appreciated.
