My students enjoy coming to school each and every day. I want my students to be successful in their learning. I teach third, fourth and fifth graders.
All students come from many different backgrounds.
However, when they come to school all that doesn't matter anymore because our school is a safe, learning environment. We are a Title One school and some students have free or reduced-price lunch. We are also a Be Kind school. We are constantly treating others with respect and kindness.
My Project
These novels will help provide my students with an unforgettable learning experience that could increase their reading abilities. The novel Wonder has such an inspiring message that I believe every child should have an opportunity to read and enjoy. There are many reading strategies and skills that could be applied while reading this novel. I want to be able to use the novels in multiple lessons throughout the year.
This novel would be a WONDER-ful resource in my classroom for student learning and academic achievement.
I believe the story will help students build peer relationships and confidence. It would be a great learning experience.
