We Need Weekly Agendas For Organization!

My Students

I am an AIS teacher located in New York City. I teach eager kindergarten, first, second, and third-grade children who are struggling readers and writers. My students are devoted to learning but need a different approach toward their education. They need small group instruction that uses many types of manipulatives.

When my children are successful, the look of wonder in their eyes is a sight to behold.

It is truly what makes being a teacher the best job in the world.

My Project

In the past, my school would provide all the children a weekly agenda. This agenda was fabulous. It allowed students to keep their assignments, spelling words, and special days all in one spot. But then the budget cuts took away our agendas.

My students simply can not afford to purchase a weekly agenda.

There are too many financial demands placed on families to but notebooks, pencils, paper and more for their children to bring to school. However, the weekly planners are GREAT!

I would love to be able to give my students the security of a planner. They will not have to search their desks, or notebooks looking for homework assignments or important dates. It will be all there in one handy notebook.
