This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are incredibly resilient and are always excited to learn. They are new to the United States within the last three years and are so motivated to learn to speak and read in English every day. They are always smiling and happy to be at school.

Most of them come to school without coats even when temperatures are in the 40s.

Please help keep them warm on these cold mornings and on cold nights, too!

These coats will ensure that they arrive safely to school and are warm and ready to learn!
