Our technology program is a hub of creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning. Students explore coding, digital citizenship, and digital design, skills that prepare them for the future. But as our program grows, so does the need for better organization. Right now, our materials are laying out on open shelves, and subject to the high humidity and heat that a school building inevitably endures.
Plastic storage bins with lids will help keep our accessories and papers dry and safe.
With clear, labeled bins, students will spend less time searching for materials and more time building, experimenting, and learning. Lidded bins will also protect our equipment from dust, spills, and accidental damage, extending the life of our valuable and expensive resources.
In addition, to celebrate all of our differences, I am requesting the book You Are Enough as a read-aloud for my students.
This project will directly impact all of my students this year, and many more in the future. It will help us create a cleaner, safer, and more efficient learning environment where students can focus on what matters: solving problems, thinking critically, including all, and creating amazing things.
