This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 30 fifth grade students in the inner-city. We serve a heavily Latino community. The majority of my students are English Language Learners.

My students are very motivated to learn, inquisitive, and dedicated.

They rise to both academic and physical challenges. My students enjoy hands-on activities and challenging themselves to learn all they can. I want them to have a positive school experience. I want them to have the resources they need to thrive and be healthy, positive individuals.

My Project

There is so much to print throughout the day. Enhancing the curriculum takes printing multiple copies for the different learning abilities in the class.

We are asking for an HP Color LaserJet Pro M182nw Wireless All-in-One Laser Printer for our class.

We need to print parent letters, student reading materials, graphs to analyze, and differentiated learning materials.

We also need the printer to print anchor charts that will be used throughout the year. In addition, with the Christmas season just around the corner, being able to print pictures for the students to give to their families would be amazing.
