This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A typical day in my classroom is fun with lots of hands-on learning. My students are so eager to learn and love school so much. They get excited about new things and the new topics we learn about.

I want to ensure my students feel safe and want to come to school.

Most of my students come from lower-income families and one hundred percent of my campus receives free lunch. My students are very young and love helping me out. My students typically come from all sorts of backgrounds, things other people may not be experiencing at their homes.

I am trying to make learning fun for my preschool students. I am having to make many copies of hands-on learning centers - more so than normal.

We got a new curriculum for the new academic school year, and we have a ton of projects to make for the students. We need the laminating pouches to ensure we can learn safely. We need a new classroom laminating machine due to the fact that our current one is on its last leg. This will ensure that we can create these activities right in our classroom.

I want to laminate all learning materials that the students are using to practice letters, words, and math. If the center activities and materials are laminated, we can easily clean the centers with disinfectant spray and wipes. I am trying so hard to keep learning hands-on and engaging during these rough times of education.
