My students need Expo markers, Vis-A-Vis markers, file folders and pencils to have the right tools for the job.

My Students
Having the right tools to do a job is important. Please help me supply my students with the 'write' tools.
I have the privilege of working with 24 wonderful kindergarten students.
They attend a large, rural elementary school which houses pre-k through fifth grade. They are from a low-income area but come to school each day excited and eager to learn new things.
My Project
"My marker won't write" is something I hear on a regular basis in my classroom. We use our individual whiteboards several times per week. This is an easy way for me to check my students' progress but it is very hard to keep working markers available for my students. I've tried purchasing the cheaper versions from local dollar stores but they do not erase easily and stain our whiteboards. We desperately need Expo markers.
I am also requesting Vis-A-Vis markers and colored file folders to make literacy and math centers. In order to reduce the amount of copying, I've put their activity pages in sheet protectors and have the students use Vis-A-Vis markers to write in their answers. This prevents it from erasing as easily as an Expo but will still allow me to use a damp cloth to erase and reuse them with other students.
Your donation will help me to provide my students with markers and file folders that they will use daily.
This donation will allow us to continue working hard at becoming better readers and mathematicians without the waste of multiple sheets of paper.
