This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My second grade students are energetic, inquisitive and innovative English Language Learners.
They enjoy learning through hands-on projects, responding to visual cues, and working collaboratively to discover new ideas and skills.
They think of innovative ideas and different ways to do things. Due to a lack of materials and equipment, my students sometimes are not able to put their fabulous ideas into action. With your help, my students will have the materials to enrich their minds. My students and I are profoundly grateful to you for your generous donation that will surely transform their eager, bright minds.
My Project
Our class received eight wonderful Fire Kindles to use during our independent reading and mathematics time. They have become a great asset during our independent reading time and my students enjoy using them on a daily basis. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong covers and they do not fit.
I am writing this project in hopes that I can get the correct covers for the tablets and keep them safe from many eager hands.
My students have learned to handle the Fire Kindles properly and have learned to be responsible but they still need the proper covers. Thank you so much for supporting Donor's Choose.
