Help me give my students more opportunities to spark their creativity without technology with STEM bins, such as Brain Flakes, magnetic tiles, and other STEM learning toys.
The supplies that I am requesting will give my students a variety of choices to spark their creativity without spending time on their Chromebooks. Each week, the students have an opportunity to participate in Fun Friday if they get their weekly goals completed. These STEM bins will give them more choices in how they want to spend their Fun Friday.
My goal for this project is to allow my students the chance to interact with their peers while also working their brains!
These STEM items, such as the magnetic tiles and Brain Flakes, are things that we don't usually have time for in our academic day, so they will be a good addition to our weekly Fun Friday time. These different materials will allow students to interact with their classmates in a less structured time of day. Along with encouraging their creative side, they will also be able to learn how to appropriately collaborate with their classmates. The addition of STEM bins in my classroom is a WIN in so many ways!
