Help me give my students What they need to collaborate and engage with one another. The student desks I have do not allow for that and my classes’ curriculum are design to work together in groups.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The classes I teach are to prepare students for college or the real world. Many of the students are timid and shy, but they are rigorous, supportive, and caring. Some have potential to be great leaders anywhere. My students have ownership of their own learning and have their own goals, but I need to show them that the world will have hiccups. I tend to prepare them for that since they are all individual and different. They are passionate and have strong desires.
I build a community within my classroom where they will be comfortable being themselves.
Since many are afraid to share their thoughts, I make the environment less uncomfortable so they get the courage and break from the "me" syndrome. I tend to teach them about real world scenarios and why we should care more. I try to teach leadership qualities and hope that they become global citizens.
I have implemented community and service learning into my curriculum to have the students not only think about academics, but about real world issues and how they can make a difference even if it is small within their school, community, and the world.
My Project
I teach AP Seminar and AP Research. These classes need space where they can use chrome books and be able to have several materials around them as they are collaborating with each other and working on their papers. The student desks do not allow for that to happen. The students need space.
Having round tables will allow space and collaboration with each other more and fairly.
If the students have space, they will feel comfortable in their environment to work. It also gives the class a sense of belonging especially when doing group work. All the students can communicate easily with each other and equally like King Arthur's idea of the purpose of the round table.
