I strive to support all the needs of my students. Sometimes that means providing items for the students that they would normally get outside of school such as personal hygiene items or snacks.
This project will help to replenish the snack items in my community share drawer.
This drawer is in the art room and open and available to any student that might need something. The drawer helps the students be able to decide for themselves what they might need for personal hygiene, take a snack so that they can focus if they are hungry, or grab a fun sticker or sucker to cheer up their mood.
This drawer has been very successful in my classroom with my students. It builds community, increases the mood, and makes students feel supported and cared for.
