My Project
Due to financial hardships, our families are unable to purchase new shoes for students to wear, causing them to continuously wear the same shoes for years at a time. Shoes start to become worn, torn, and ripped. Too often, our students come to school in shoes that are far too big, too small, ripped, and even stained to the extent it becomes a distraction to themselves and their peers. It is very difficult for students to focus in class and participate in Physical Education in uncomfortable shoes. Without the proper shoes, students can not participate in all gym and recess activities.
Unfortunately, we have come to the point that we are running out of shoes to provide our students who desperately need them.
With your donation, families will no longer have to go through the added stress of figuring out where to access shoes for the winter. Students can focus on what they can do best in school, which is striving for success.
