My students need two ink cartridges and a case of paper to type up essays and create graphic organizers.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day my students are working hard to gather information and organize it. They're eager to learn and are fascinated about people and events from history.
My students go to school in the South Bronx, the poorest congressional district in the United States.
Our school is bright, beautiful and warm. Student work lines the hallways and students are proud when they see something they've completed is hung up on display.
My Project
Students will use the ink and paper to create graphic organizers that help them collect and organize information as well as type up writing assignments. My students are on the path to becoming college ready but they're still in need of materials like paper and ink to get them where they need to be.
Donations to this project will improve my classroom by making lessons more engaging.
Students are more engaged when they're able to use laptops to create materials or type up essays based on what we're doing in class. They're proud to hand in work that looks neat and professional after it has been typed.
