We Need Orchestra Supplies!

My students need orchestra supplies including bows, a book and replacement strings to play beautiful string instruments.

My Students

I teach in an urban neighborhood where many children qualify for free lunch. We have a very supportive community and staff. However, our community can not afford to rent musical instruments or pay for supplies. Our school owns 20 string instruments that need supplies

We have a wonderful group of students.

Our school serves children grades kindergarten through 8th grade. When the students reach third grade, they have the option of being in orchestra. They are very excited to make music. Together, we have formed a string orchestra.

My Project

I am requesting that we receive orchestra bows, replacement strings, and rosin. With these supplies, the students can put on great concerts for the community. By playing in string orchestra, students are exposed to classical music and are able to play beautiful string instruments.

Donating to our string orchestra will make a huge impact on our students.

Replacing bows and strings is necessary to keep the instruments in playing condition. Without your donation, students will not get an opportunity to play in a string orchestra.
