Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are very intelligent and competent learners. They are a mix of multiple cultures. Our top priority is to increase our reading levels and increase our vocabulary this year! We want to make big strides and close the achievement gap.
Our students are in a low-income area, and many do not have books to read at home.
My students are very focused on doing their best and giving their all. They have all been together since preschool and they adore each other! They like to encourage each other and do their best.
My Project
We will be doing STEAM Projects in the Spring time, and having this Apple laptop computer will generate excitement. The ability to use an up to date computer for STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) projects will help create enthusiasm for learning! The Apple will allow my students to be creative and explore new ideas with new technology.
The ability to use the latest technology in the classroom will help to close the achievement gap for many learners!
