We Need Multisensory Tools to Build Speech and Language Skills!

Help me give my students some updated toys like the creative minds basket of babies and materials like colorful kinetic sand to learn and explore while practicing their speech and language skills.

My Project

In our speech-language room, we work with a diverse group of preschool students. Many of our students are working on fundamental skills including language development, articulation, and social communication. For these young learners, we need hands-on, engaging materials that turn therapy into an exciting play-based experience.

The materials I'm requesting are more than just toys; they are essential tools for building communication skills.

Kinetic sand and magnet tiles provide unique tactile and visual input that can be used to elicit language, practice following directions, and target specific vocabulary.

Baby dolls are crucial for our social communication goals. They give students a tangible way to practice turn-taking, role-playing, and understanding emotions. By pretending to feed or rock the baby, students can work on verbs, sequencing, and even expressing empathy.

Our collection of books is the heart of our room. They are a powerful way to expand vocabulary, improve listening comprehension, and facilitate narrative skills. .

Finally, reward stickers are a simple but effective tool for celebrating success. They provide positive reinforcement that motivates students to participate and feel proud of their progress, no matter how small.
