We Need Motivational Supplies to Make Learning Fun

My students need dry erase markers for write and wipe pockets along with "Hear Myself Phones" and timers for reading fluency.

My Students

The young students in this class have special needs due to emotional or behavioral problems. These difficulties interfere with their ability to learn. Yet, with motivational strategies, the students become eager to learn and put forth the necessary effort needed in school.

These students are all attending a public school in California.

They are placed in a special education class for students primarily with emotional disturbances in grades kindergarten through second. They all have emotional or behavioral difficulties that interfere with their academic progress in general education classrooms.

My Project

These materials are motivational to the students so they do not resist the educational lessons as they do when given paper and pencil tasks. They enjoy using dry erase markers to do work. The phones make reading enjoyable and increase necessary practice time. The timers are motivational as students can race the clock on educational activities.

On behalf of the students placed in this class along with their families, I appreciate your consideration in donating for motivational materials.

These students often need just a little extra to make learning more enjoyable to improve both their academic and behavioral progress.
