My classroom is filled with learning, laughs, and love. By the end of the school year I want my students to be as close to grade level as possible. My biggest challenge from getting them there is making sure they have as many just right books to read as possible. Today a reader tomorrow a leader!
My students are a vibrant group of boys with a variety of different learning disabilities.
They are fun, energetic, hardworking, and lovable. My students love to read as long as they are reading books they can easily decode and read with fluency. My school is an awesome community that embraces the differences of the children in my class. They are included in all activities and made to feel apart of all grade level and school wide activities.
My Project
I have a set of books that have already been leveled for my classroom, however my students are reading machines. They are reading through the books very quickly. I want to make sure they don't lose their interest because they are reading the same books over and over again. This library will continue to spark the love of reading in my class.
These donations will improve my classroom by allowing my students to progress in their reading.
They will be able to see how they progress from one basket to another and feel a sense of pride because of their improvement.
