My Project

Our classroom had no library at the beginning of the year. Thanks to Donors Choose, we now have one, but we need more. Every day we read after lunch and the library is well-used. Some of us have read "everything" and are asking me when we will get more. My students are eager readers, especially when they can select their own materials based on their interests.

Reading at least 20 minutes daily has been proven to improve fluency and comprehension.

We need to keep this up to make the most gains. We no longer have a school library and the public library is inaccessible for most of us. We appreciate all the help we can get to make this a reality.
