This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are first graders who are learning to master reading. Unfortunately, many of our schools curriculum supplies and books are very outdated and not effective for my striving readers. These gift cards to Teachers Pay Teachers will enable me to purchase up-to-date reading activities and games for my students. Many of my students this year are reading either at grade level or above grade level. The materials I will be purchasing will enhance my reading curriculum by adding materials that align with the Science of Reading. My students deserve the best education I can give them!
