Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember having lots of books to choose from? Our classroom library needs more books.
We are a Title I school located in Los Angeles.
All students receive free lunch and come from low-income families. My third grade students are eager to learn. Our school has limited resources and is in need of more books for our classroom library.
My Project
My students need a set of the Magic Tree House book collection. In addition they need a set of various books to add to our classroom library. Having a variety of books will give students the opportunity to explore different genres. The iPod will be use to download audio for the books.
Students need to have a full classroom library with many books to select from.
It will give my students the opportunity to select books at their reading level. Having books that interest them will encourage them to read more.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
