This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for the letter tiles to make my students’ learning more hands on and engaging.
The materials that I am requesting will give students more independent spelling practice and put what they are learning into action.
I want my students to not only understand letters and sounds but also how to build words. This will also show them how letters and sounds make words that they can eventually read. When we allow students to use their imagination and knowledge we as adults are giving them permission to explore and create to their heart’s desire.
The items that I am requesting will be used all year to make my students’ learning concrete and get them excited about reading. By donating to my classroom you are letting my students know that you believe in them and want them to explore the world around them.
