Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my music classroom were at a disadvantage because of Covid-19. Their music classes were online last year making music videos. That year online put them behind in their music development. Most of their homes did not offer them instruments to play or opportunities to develop their music skills.
The music items ordered will give every student an instrument to play.
The students will not need to share with other students. Because of this, students will be able to receive the full music experience and develop their music skills.
Students will develop language skills through singing and reading music. They will develop motor skills through dancing and playing rhythms. They will also receive the therapy that music offers to those who experience music.
